Celebrating womanhood
Art works describing the influence, radiance and cheerfulness of women are making art lovers of the city go mesmerized. And She Rose is an exhibition of artworks by Mrs. Preeti Bawa, that’s been put up at Alliance Francaise de Bhopal art gallery.
The exhibition began at the art gallery from 15th October 2018. Preeti Bawa is an alumni of Sir J. J. School of Fine Arts, Mumbai.
Preeti’s artwork is an exploration of the emotional, spiritual and physical of what is seen and unseen in nature. Her creations are a tribute to women, their heroic accomplishments and sheer grit to triumph against all odds.
Preeti said, ” The centralized idea of my work is the exalted status that a women gains, whilst searching for stability, security and self-respect in this world, often at a great emotional cost to herself.
I seek to extract meaning from the intervening moments and spaces, between her dreams and actualities, given the stressful life events which often hold females in great disdain.”
” As a female and an artist, I can observe what a woman has to contend with when confronted by a plethora of restrictive socio-cultural attitudes, where she wishes to gift herself the freedom to flutter and fly freely.”
Preeti has presented her state of mind in the sculptures which depict the beauty of women. It is said that women are one of the beautiful creations and Preeti through her sculptures has beautifully presented the power and positivity of a woman. Every art piece has a story attached to it. A lot of thought process and hard work has gone in creating these beautiful art pieces.
Over the years with continuous working on these forms, Preeti has developed her own style of creating sculptures. She has developed the perfection of this artistic world.
Preeti with adding an artistic pinch of her great imagery to the sculptures presented these forms artistically before the spectators. Working on those patterns Preeti has majestically unveiled the exquisiteness of women’s world in the sculptures.
Bhopal Bloggers Meet at: Global India Exhibition
Celebrating womanhood and festive season, Bhopal witnessed the last exhibition of this year which was held at Courtyard by Marriott by Global India Exhibition. Day one of the exhibition was a huge success and many eminent faces of the city were spotted at the exhibition. Team Bhopal Bloggers Association also collaborated by inviting the fashion bloggers of the city. The event is dedicated to fashion, beauty and home decor.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Vishwas Sarang and is organised by Dr. Tanu Sahani. Today is the last day of the event wherein people can witness live painting workshop, makeup workshop by Chetna Chatwal and many other fun activities.
