दुनिया की हर मां की तरह हर पिता को सम्मान देने और उन्हें खास होने का एहसास दिलाने के लिए फादर्स डे मनाया जाता है। इस दिन बच्चे अपने पिता के लिए सरप्राइज प्लान करते हैं और उनके साथ समय बिताकर यह जताते हैं कि उनके पिता अपने बच्चों के लिए कितने खास हैं। आमतौर पर यह देखा जाता है कि लोग अपने पिता के लिए अपने प्यार को खुलकर जाहिर नहीं कर पाते हैं, लेकिन इस खास दिन अपने पिता से अपनी भावनाओं को लोग खुलकर जाहिर करते हैं।
I couldn’t tell you every day how grateful I am that you are my dad. It’s not because I don’t want to. I just choose to let it show. Happy fathers’ day!

Dad- I have realized that we value the relations more when they are far from us. We forget to respect, hug or love our parents everyday and wait for one day to celebrate. My dad was my first superhero and he continues to be so even though he is not with us in person but he continues to inspire us each day for he beyond space and a story it would be the greatest ever told, of a a kind and loving dad, who had a heart of gold. I could write a million pages but still be unable to say , just how much i miss him and love him everyday. We know that he is looking on us every day and sending us blessings from up above, we look up to him and smile…and say thank you dad for being mine.

मैं यही कहती अगर आप होते ,नहीं हो तो भी कह रही हूँ क्योंकि मैं जानती हूँ आप जहाँ भी हो आप हमारा खयाल रख रहे हो। यूँ तो कि मुझे बहुत ज्यादा memories नहीं हैं उनकी पर हाँ मेरे बहुत दोस्त हैं उनके भी थे , उन्हें Socialise करना पसंद था, मुझे भी है। गांधी जी के फालोअर थे मेरे डैडी, तो मैं चाहती हूँ की उनके जैसा व्यक्तित्व मेरा भी हो। Mom says He was a man of intelligence goodness & humility और हाँ , मैं उनको thankyou बोलना चाहती हूँ कि उनके जाने के बाद भी हमने हिम्मत नहीं हारी, शायद वो हमें अपनी strength देकर चले गए। और हाँ अगर वो आज होते तो उन्हें मुझपर गर्व होता। और यही मेरे लिए सही मायने में आज के दिन का celebration है। बाकी मैं आज का दिन celebrate करूँगी मेरी मम्मा के साथ , जो कि मेरी father भी हैं! I am the carbon copy of my father. I remember the days when I failed in my 12 standard and he threw an ice cream party for me. I share a very friendly bond with my father where he is very well aware of my relationships. As a girl, I just wish that my would be partner should possess my dad’s quality who never forced my mother to change her surname after marriage and supported my mother to work after marriage.

खुदी को कर बुलंद इतना कि हर तकदीर से पहले खुदा बंदे से खुद पुछे बता तेरी रजा क्या है। इकबाल का यह शेर जीवन मंत्र की तरह विरासत में दादा जी से पापा के पास आया और पापा से मुझे मिला। पापा अमुमन इसे खुब निभाया और मेरी कोशिश भी जारी है। आज पापा को हमारे बीच से गए पूरे बारह दिन हो गए हैं। पर ऐसा लगता ही नहीं के वो हमारे बीच नहीं हैं। उन्होंने अपनी जिंदगी को कर्म भूमी बनाया और उसी हिसाब से जिया। वो प्रेरणासोत्र बन हमारे साथ हमेशा रहेंगे। पापा की यह तस्वीर मेरी सबसे सुंदर याद बन गई है। मेरे द्वारा हाल ही में रचित म्यूरल मेघदूत की है जो, वल्लभ भवन फेस-2 परिसर में हाल ही में लगी है। पापा आपकी याद हमेशा आती रहेगी।
