The Second Annual Sports Day, held on 8th Feb 2020, at Trailblazers International School, Bhopal was a day filled with fervor and excitement experienced amidst thrills, shrills and cheers. The day started off with the unfurling of the National flag and Prayer dance. The Principal Dr Faiqa Saulat Khan addressed & welcomed the gathering and emphasized the importance of Sports in the life of students. This was followed by declaration of the Annual Sports meet open by the Chief Guest, Mr Irshad Wali (D.I.G Police, Bhopal, M.P), who also appreciated the school and the students .

The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with a student’s parade led by the sports captain followed by the mascot symbolically ‘Three Wise monkeys’. This was followed by the Torch Run by students after which the Sports Captain administered the Oath to participate in all  fairness and to uphold the glory of sports.

The students of Kindergarten put up an excellent performance through the dance PT titled ‘‘Flowers of Happiness’’. The young champions were exposed to a plethora of events such as track events including various races and relays. The surprise element was a peppy Zumba drill , Karate display and an energizing Yoga drill, which enthralled the audience with the rhythmic graceful moves.

The Ball drill showcased by the students of Primary school exhibited high levels of discipline, concentration and perseverance through their well-rehearsed moves. All the performances indicated the hard work and dedication of the students and teachers-in-charge who had trained them with utmost diligence.

Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes. Students from all grades bagged prizes in various events. The winner students were congratulated with trophies, medals and certificates.

The games organized for the parents saw an impressive participation as well. Our Parent representative, Commander  Virender Singh , of the Indian Navy, much appreciated the School and excellent Sports events conducted for all the students and parents.

At the end of the day, students departed with a broad smile on their faces as the ‘Red’ Pioneer House emerged as the Champion in Relays, and ‘Blue’ House was declared winner in PT displays and the Discipline Cup was bagged by the Yellow’house. Master Ayan Mallick , bagged the best all rounder boy award and Miss Samaira Khan , bagged the best all rounder Girl award. It was a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish.
