WEES ( Women Education Empowerment Society) has organized two awareness sessions on Women Safety and self defense and Active participation of women in forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, for Barkhedi slum area women. The sessions were facilitated by Mrs Shradha Joshi, ASP, Crime Against women, MP Police. She gave important and necessary information regarding self Defense and urged women to take participate actively in upcoming elections for their rights. Karate trainer Miss Karuna Sharma demonstrated and taught basic self defense techniques to the women. Women learned how they can protect themselves in emergency situations. On the occasion the President of WEES, Rakhshan Zahid , Secretary Rana Khan and other members were present.
